Babyshop vouches for child safety with their latest campaign for children
The child doesn't know good from bad, but adults do - It is with this premise that Babyshop, stalwarts in providing quality products for children, has just set out on their Child Safety Campaign for 2008.
Parents, guardians, and adults who care for their children face constant challenges when trying to help keep children safer in today's world. Roads have become busier and homes have got more electronic gadgets than ever before. With this comes tougher challenges for parents.
Unlike in the west where child safety is spoken about a lot, this region is relatively silent about child safety norms.
Recognising the need to educate the public on various precautions that need to be taken to keep children safe from harm, Babyshop has initiated a month-long child safety campaign.
'As a children's brand that is conscious of its obligations towards society, Babyshop believes that taking a small step forward by introducing this child safety initiative will go a long way to ensure that the kids are safe both at home and on the roads,' says Rahul Saxena, Marketing Manger, Babyshop, which boasts of the biggest range of car seats available in the region, in terms of collection and brands.
Babyshop initiated a well-researched and innovative creative route to drive home the importance of child safety.
Foremost in this campaign, Babyshop identified the areas where the child was most prone to get hurt and directed their advice and concentration to those areas.
The campaign includes a child safety booklet, one of the mediums used to convey the possibilities of danger that a child can face, and advice for safety.
Every customer who shops at Babyshop stores during this month is handed over this 20-page booklet, which explains the different areas that the parent should focus on and take notice of. It has sections about caring for children on the roads, at home and elsewhere.
The booklet highlights precautions for parents while they are driving with a child on board, safety measures that adults should take when a child is asleep at home, and even advises parents on how to make their homes children-friendly.
The largest range of car seats for children is available at all Babyshop stores in addition to a host of important safety accessories that parents can use at home to keep their kids safe.
The safety range from Babyshop includes a handy All-in-one Child Care Kit that takes care of a child's wellness and grooming, especially useful during travel; a knee-protector that protects toddlers' knees when they are crawling; Finger Pinch Guard that protects small hands and fingers from being caught in door hinges; Corner cushions for all those sharp furniture edges; Secure Lock Bed Rails which prevents kids from rolling off their beds; latches that keeps children from opening cabinets, drawers and refrigerators and many more.
With this range, Babyshop provides a solution for every concern a parent might have for their child.
'This campaign is purely a community initiative and we are pleased with the kind of awareness and goodwill that Babyshop is already creating among its customers. This is evident from the amount of positive customer feedback gathered by store managers across all Babyshop stores in the region. But above all, we are glad that the campaign is on track and on target - generating awareness and showing that Babyshop cares,' added Mr. Saxena.
